Leslie teaches a variety of classes for all levels. She strives to provide an enlightened experience to nurture your mind, body, and spirit.

As a beginner, one would learn basic poses in yoga while building power in your legs and core. An introduction to Sun Salutations and other basic poses will start your yoga journey. You will learn how to breathe, how to calm your mind, and bring peace to your heart. If you are new to yoga, this class is for you.

Classes for all levels will allow you to evolve by allowing my instruction to challenge you by adding poses and routines that will aid in your growth. All participants will get individualized attention while working at your own pace. This is not a class for new students, but great for those with experience.
Happiness is when what you think, what you say and what you do are in harmony.

Advanced classes allow strength development in the upper body to correspond with strength from your core and legs. You will learn specific techniques from different sequences and various levels. The Advanced classes will improve overall functioning and create amazing awareness in your body, mind, and spirit.

Voluptuous Ladies Yoga is designed for bigger women who are new to yoga or are beginners. Leslie offers multiple variations of each pose and modifications through the use of props and personal attention. VL Yoga is a great way for you to cultivate a more positive relationship with your body on and off the mat – or celebrate the positive relationship that you already have!

Leslie began practicing yoga in 2008 with Nancy Allen, her primary teacher. She continued her studies and practice of yoga with Desiree Rumbaugh, Cyndi Lee, Lila Brown, Paul and Sommer Sobin, and other wonderful teachers. She graduated in 2014 from the Thousand Petals Yoga Program in Chapel Hill, N.C. Leslie hopes to inspire voluptuous women like herself to have a more positive relationship with their bodies. Her classes incorporate gentle movement in sync with the breath and emphasize proper alignment for both freedom and stability.
